Font Fight
Four titans of type in the German speaking world will pitch their might to win the title »Font Fight Champion TYPO Berlin«. They are introduced by Bruno Maag, the reigning world champion.
Who will win the title? (G)
Bruno will explain the rules of this ‘no-holds-barred’ fight that lasts over four rounds. The winner will be declared by the audience response each speaker receives for their contribution. Each round lasts three minutes.
The four rounds are structured as follows:
Round 1: Each contestant introduces their favourite typeface and why everyone should love it
Round 2: Each contestant shows the font in good use, how they like it seen
Round 3: Each contestant shows examples of their font abused, how they will not accept their fonts used
Round 4: Each contestant cirtisises the work of their competition
During and at the end of each round the audience reaction is measured an points awarded. The contestant with the highest number of points is the champion. It is therefore important for each contestant to have their fans present during this bout.
